Fedora Upgrade Rinniing out of space

Fedora stores the files needed for an upgrade in /var/lib/dnf/system-upgrade/ if space is getting short in root as I was, then make a symlink to a disk or partition that does.

Washed Badge Repair

I have one of those cheap LED badges.  Having managed to program it, (another blog perhaps), I washed it.  Not deliberately, it just was in the pocket of a jacket.  Additionaly it endured several washes due to being trapped in the door seal, unseen, for several weeks. The result was a bloated LiPo battery and the charge control chip losing a leg.

This this how I fixed it.
