The megger PAT4 has a parallel printer port that outputs Epson style data for a dot matrix printer.  Now I could buy an old printer and use that but I have an aversion to using paper, and noise. I'd also like the data to be portable / copyable to other applications.  My solution...

Should have been easy.  The start/spin up turned out to be difficult due to an unexpected reason.

The requirement was for a museum exibit with handles to drive tortoises along a track.  For various rasons connecting the handles directly to the totoises was not an option.

There are many fake Atmel chips in the world and for most hobbyists it doesn't matter whether your Aurduino Nano has a real on or a fake one installed.  Blinky programs will work just fine on a fake.  For some applications though it's a critial componenet that can cause your project to unexpectedly fail and will cost you many hours chasing a fault, that's not of your own making.  For once.

My experience setting up a Yubikey4 and some confusing with GPG and GPG2.

The Yubikey4 in now osolete, I bought a used because it was cheap, not that I have pressing need for it.
