Yes, I bought them deliberately At a very good price too.

I've been using Rasberry Pies as projector drivers and I though these would make a good addition to the fleet, since I can't buy Pies any more.

While setting one up a collegue asked if they will run ChamSys MagicQ. Yes they will is the answer. So now he doesn't need to use his expensive laptop to run shows where he is not present to ensureits security. Nice.

Make sure they have 8Gb SSD and 2Gb memory as Debian with a desktop and ChamsSys need about 6Gb.

Install and enjoy.

I removed all the other applications bundled with debian though.  LibreOffice and Gimp are not required to run a light show.

I have the intention to network them all using BATMAN-ADV.  More to come on that, but see an earlier post about mesh networking.
